12 years after his death,  Joey Ramone’s record collection is going under the hammer.

As NME report, the punk icon’s record collection will be put up for auction from February 14-21. The collection is being sold by the Joey Ramone Estate, and comes with a letter of authenticity signed by Ramone’s (actual) brother Mickey.

The collection runs to 97 records, and features a host of classic punk and rock LPs: Led Zeppelin, The Who, Cream, T. Rex, The Doors and Iggy Pop are among the haul. Marvin Gaye, The Human League and KISS are also in the collection. More unlikely items include David Essex’s All The Fun Of The Fair, Plastic Bertrand’s Ca Plane Pour Moi and Paul Anka’s Vintage Years 1957-1961.

The collection is described as being in “very good to fine condition, with various scattered creases and small tears to sleeves, affixed prices tags and labels, and marks to vinyl.” The singer’s leather jacket, passport, guitars and T-shirts are also being sold. Head to RR Auction to survey the stash.
