Four Tet's 2003 album Rounds to get 10th anniversary reissue, complete with live disc

Four Tet‘s 2003 album Rounds is to get the 10th anniversary reissue treatment.

A breakthrough record of sorts – though Kieren Hebden had been releasing worthy records since the mid/late 1990s, both solo and as part of Fridge – Rounds marked the London producer’s third album under the Four Tet name, and at that point represented his most vivid work to date. It’s arguably more in debt to trip-hop, Warp and – ahem – IDM than the skewed dancefloor bliss of Four Tet’s recent releases, but there’s definite signs of what was to come, and in ‘As Serious as Your Life’ and ‘My Angel Rocks Back and Forth’, it contains some of his very best songs.

Domino will re-release Rounds on May 13, with a second disc containing a live recording from Copenhagen, 2003. The set will be available on double-vinyl (though the live disc remains on CD), CD and digital formats.
