It’s been four years since Fuck Buttons‘ Tarot Sport hit the shelves, so it’s high time the noisy duo pieced together a brand new record.

Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power’s latest escapade will be entitled Slow Focus, and according to Power the title is an appropriate one, given the sound of the record. He explained “It almost feels like the moment your eyes take to readjust when waking, and realising you’re in a very unusual and not a particularly welcoming place. We like to think that we create our own new landscapes, and with this it’s a very alien one.”.

Produced entirely by Fuck Buttons themselves for the very first time, the album will be released on the ATP label, and is due to be released on CD and 2LP on July 22.
