Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have been named as a last-minute addition to the line-up at EXIT Festival in Serbia next month.

The murder balladeer and his band will headline the Sunday night, playing songs from their impressive fifteenth album Push the Sky Away plus, if recent performances are anything to go by, a dash of the gory stuff like ‘Stagger Lee’ and ‘Tupelo’.

The Thursday night of the festival will be headlined by Snoop Lion, while The Prodigy close proceedings on Friday and Thom Yorke’s supergroup Atoms for Peace take care of Saturday. Other highlights include Detroit originator Jeff Mills, and Dixon playing back to back with Âme.

EXIT takes place in a fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia, from 10 to 14 July. You can still get hold of tickets here.
