Dublin-based electronica duo Lakker make their R&S debut with new EP Containing a Thousand, and rarely have an artist and label been such a righteous fit.

Lakker’s fusion of classic R&S sounds – from AFX’s fizzy distorted drums to the trip-inducing stabs of Joey Beltram – makes it feel as if the duo were always heading towards the label, and the EP is a stunning statement that refreshingly ignores any awkward contemporary tropes.
