Massive yearly festival Amsterdam Dance Event has announced it’s first wave of artists for 2014, and it already looks like a doozy.

Kicking off on October 15, the five-day festival will again feature a comprehensive showcase of some of the world’s best dance acts – past and present – as well as offering an innovative daytime program. Now we’ve got the first wave of artists confirmed, it’s clear to see exactly how 2014’s event is shaping up.

There are of course some of dance music’s unshakable veterans – Green Velvet, Joey Beltram, Laurent Garnier, Deep Dish, Dave Clarke, John Digweed, DJ Stingray, Speedy J, Derrick May, DJ Pierre and more, sitting alongside a run of contemporary dance’s bright and beautiful – Rustie, Maya Jane Coles, Nina Kraviz, Lunice, A Made Up Sound, Funkinevil (Kyle Hall & Funkineven), Eats Everything and too many more to list.

Really the lineup goes on forever, we can hardly do it justice here, so make sure you head over to the ADE site to take a closer look and secure yourself tickets. It’s hard to believe this is only the first announcement, we’re guessing there are still plenty of additions yet to come.
