ZED SHIZAM

Zed Bias may have taken a step back from DJing, but he knows how to make a banger when required.

Garage, breakbeat, d’n’b, early dubstep, funky – Zed Bias is fast running out of fingers to plunge into pies. The UK underground veteran always has something on the go, and we’ve got the first play of his latest joint – a new single for Black Butter, previously home to the likes of Clean Bandit and Rudimental.

True to its title, ‘Shizam’ is a neat little trick – a stuttering grime tune with a dancehall spirit and some of funky’s gleeful shuffle. Stylo G and Scrufizzer are on enjoyably impish form, and Bias is clearly having a lot of fun to boot; click below to listen.

’Shizam’ is due out soon on Black Butter; head to their website for further information.
