The techno wizard heads to the Barbican.

Jeff Mills is no stranger to blurring the line between the club and the concert hall: he performed Light From The Outside World with the Orchestre National d’Ile-de-France in 2012 and with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in 2014; he also collaborated with the Montpelier Philharmonic Orchestra back in 2005.

On October 24, Mills will perform Light From The Outside World live with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall, recreating classic tracks with orchestral accompaniment. Chirstophe Mangou, whom he worked with in Melbourne, will conduct.

Tickets go on sale to Barbican members at 10 AM GMT on Thursday, March 26 and on general sale at 10 AM on Friday, March 27. [via RA]
