Guillermo Scott Herren continues his comeback.

Prefuse 73 has signed to Lex Records on a multi-album deal, and will be releasing both solo and collaborative material on the label from 2016.

According to the label, Herren has created “an album-load” of new tracks with Boston MC Michael Christmas over the summer, which will form the first of his releases on the label.

The news will be well received by fans of the producer, who returned this year on Temporary Residence with Rivington Não Rio, his first album in four years.

He will be performing with Christmas alongside Edan + Paten Locke and Lex artists Golden Rules and High Lucia at a label show in London on October 2 as part of the Clock Strikes 13 series – more details on that here.

Though there are no concrete details of the producer’s Lex releases yet, you can revisit Prefuse 73’s FACT mix here.
