A new club has just opened in Liverpool’s city centre.

The 200-capacity Buyers Club Music launched with a secretsundaze party on Sunday night, with residents Giles Smith and James Priestley on hand to smash the proverbial magnum against the ship.

Located in the former Flying Picket on Hardman Street, the venue will be used for gigs and DJ sets, with visuals designed by Sam Wiehl of Liverpool Psych Fest. The owners say the spot has “been crafted with a low ceiling, subtle lighting and a meticulously created soundsystem,” as RA reports. There’s also a restaurant and bar downstairs known as Buyers Club Bar.

This month’s line-up includes appearances from Mahogani Music producer Dan Shake on October 8, LA Club Resource boss Delroy Edwards on October 15, and Dogmatik Records boss Alex Arnout on October 22.

Follow the venue’s Twitter and check Facebook for more updates.
