Coldplay fan Barack Obama will be excited to hear himself on the band’s seventh album.

Chris Martin has revealed that a sample of Obama singing at the funeral of Charleston shooting Clementa C. Pinckney appears on the record’s title track, ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’.

The singer told The Sun: “We have a tiny clip of the president singing ‘Amazing Grace’ at that church. Because of the historical significance of what he did and also that song being about, ‘I’m lost but now I’m found’.”

Coldplay popped up on POTUS’s summer playlist earlier this year, but aside from that it’s worth a spin. [via NME]
