Better than retail therapy.

Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole exchanged beats for a pair of themed new tracks released yesterday, known as Black Friday, the beginning of the Christmas holiday shopping season.

Lamar jumps on the beat from J. Cole’s ‘A Tale of 2 Citiez’ – taken from the 2014 Forest Hills Drive album. In return, J. Cole laid his own raps over the beat for ‘Alright’, from Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly album. Both tracks are titled ‘Black Friday’.

Earlier this week, Lamar shared his remix of fellow TDE member Jay Rock’s ‘Easy Bake’.
