One of the year’s most exciting production outfits continue their winning streak.

The next release from shockingly on-point Manchester imprint Swing Ting will be ‘Bubble’, a crushing bashment burner from Jamaican duo Equiknoxx (going under the Equiknoxx Music moniker), featuring fellow islander Devin Di Dakta on vocals.

If you’re not familiar, Devin Di Dakta was recently spotted on two of the summer’s biggest riddims – Birchill Records’ ‘Moskato Riddim’ and ZJ Sparks’ ‘Skelewu Riddim’.

Last month, Equiknoxx raised their profile in the experimental realm, dropping a the phenomenal Bird Sound Power on Demdike Stare’s DDS imprint. If you’ve only tracked down their more skewed productions, ‘Bubble’ shows a different side to their sound – one primed for the dance. It’s hardly surprising they’ve produced for Mavado, Spice, Missy Elliott and Busy Signal in the past, and the duo’s smart fusion of pop tropes and bashment sounds works perfectly here.

‘Bubble’ will be released on August 19 via Swing Ting.
