Featuring a spot from the legendary Wande Coal.

Krishane has teamed with Wande Coal on an infectious new track, ‘Found Da Boi’. The Afropop-inspired single, which dropped on MistaJam’s 1Xtra show last week but has now found its way online, is about “recognising and appreciating what is in front of you, as well as embracing happiness” says the rising London-via-Jamaica artist.

“She been sleeping for way too long again, she need to feel alive again,” sings Krishane on a track that deals with “inconvenient, all-consuming love”, bringing the same high energy rhythms, blockbuster hooks and pitch-shifted vocal twists that marked him out on previous single ‘Inconsiderate’.

Wande Coal, who calls Krishane “a real special talent,” makes a guest spot that the 22-year-old – the son of reggae star Barrington Levy – describes as a “blessing… The icing could not have been better placed on the cake by a feature who resonates with the sound and wants to help its message travel.” Check out the track below, and watch out for a full-length album from Krishane, which he’s working on as we speak.
