An hour ago, the following popped up on Wiley’s ever-fascinating Twitter feed: ‘Today I’m gonna leak the M.I.A remix me and thomas done i don’t like that other one #skullduggery’. Well, he went there.

Wiley has just posted up the remix on Sendspace. ‘Thomas’ refers to grime producer Thomas Mellor, who adds some cosmetic tweaks to M.I.A’s original. Wiley’s on impish form, mocking M.I.A’s delivery and amping up the braggadocio.

In response to supportive tweets, Wiley was typically conspiratorial: ‘ya know why cos behind the scenes someone tried to be idiot this is why i aint gonna moan i will just carry on lol’. Then, with pleasing perspicuity, he added: ‘I love twitter its so instant’.
