FACT gets a demonstration of Bitwig’s exciting new software studio.

Bitwig Studio 2 promises to be one of the most modular synth-friendly software studios yet, and the company was at NAMM 2017 to show off its capabilities alongside samples from Irrupt.

As well as using Eurorack gear from Bastl Instruments to demonstrate how the new DAW can send CV signals, Bitwig offered a preview of Bastl’s new Klik device, which can convert line level signals from a headphone jack into a clock signal.

Bitwig Studio 2 is available from February 28 for $399/€379.Existing owners get the update free if they purchased the software on or after December 10, 2016, while other users can upgrade for $169/$159.

Find out more at the Bitwig website, and look for more of FACT’s videos from NAMM 2017 later this week.
