It’s been known for a while that Hype Williams would be releasing an EP on Hyperdub, but now details of the release have been confirmed by the label.

Kelly Price W8 Gain Vol.II (HDB052) is comprised of four tracks – ‘Rise Up’, the original version of the skew-whiff disco killer that appeared in two different versions on that recent limited-to-50-copies Second Layer 12″, ‘Boss Man’, ‘Farthing Wood’ (which was first aired on Hype’s FACT mix) and ‘Badmind’ (listen to a rip here).

The release date for the EP is unknown at this time, but we imagine it will drop in May/June. A Hype Williams session for Benji B will be broadcast on BBC Radio 1 on April 30.
