The duo rename themselves Vilod for a new collaboration.

Techno doyen Ricardo Villalobos and modular synth champ Max Loderbauer will follow 2013’s Turbo Sematic EP for Perlon with a full-length for the label in June.

Safe In Harbour comprises seven tracks of “smart and airy groove[s]” and “sensual syncopation and eruptive bass energy”, according to the distributor. It’s out on June 15 as a double vinyl edition with a CD version to come.

Villalobos announced his latest solo release just last week, an EP for Frankfurt’s Raum…musik titled Who Are We? [via RA]
