Run The Jewels rapper delivers another illuminating lecture.

Killer Mike has never shied away from discussing sensitive topics like police brutality and race relations in the United States. The Houston rapper has published heartfelt op-eds, delivered powerful speeches in the wake of civil unrest and battled with the talking heads on CNN. On top of that, Mike has become renowned for spreading his positive message through moving lectures.

Killer Mike visited Florida State University on Wednesday for a lecture on racism, civil rights and community. He encouraged students to become leaders in their communities in order to help one another.

“Step out of your comfort zone to engage another human being as a fair and honest equal,” he said, “and based on that engagement, help that individual grow.”
