The 24-hour Tube is going ahead.

London’s proposed Night Tube service could finally be a reality following a pay deal between TfL and transport union members.

The RMT union said 84% of its 10,000 members voted in favour of the offer. Three other unions have yet to decide.

The service was initially due to be extended last September, but London Underground deferred the launch when drivers rejected the new working conditions.

Last November the project appeared to have been shelved indefinitely, with the Mayor of London saying the 24-hour service was “not absolutely critical”.

The Night Tube will see trains running all night on the Jubilee, Victoria, Central, Northern and Piccadilly lines on Fridays and Saturdays.
