Shows in Dallas, Portland and Philadelphia have been announced so far.

The xx have announced a 2017 tour of North America by mailing free tickets to fans, Pitchfork reports.

Destinations announced so far include Dallas, Portland and Philadelphia. Invites were sent to select fans who had pre-ordered the trio’s forthcoming album I See You, due for release on January 13.

The band announced their European tour in a similar manner in late 2016, and are due to perform a record seven consecutive sold-out nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton alongside dates in Berlin, Paris and Copenhagen.

The xx started 2017 by releasing a new single from their new album, the uplifting track ‘Say Something Loving’. They’re also booked to play this year’s Coachella Festival alongside Radiohead, Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar on April 1 and 14.
