The band will stop off for a date at London’s Field Day on June 3.

Slowdive unleashed their first new song in over two decades earlier this month and now the shoegaze heroes have announced a springtime tour.

The band will be playing shows throughout the US with FACT-approved Japanese Breakfast in May, before heading to London for a performance at Field Day in June – see the full dates below.

Slowdive released their final album Pygmalion in 1995 before quietly disappearing, only to resurface some 22 years later with new single ‘Star Roving’.

Their new album is already primed to be one of the best of the year, but until it lands remind yourself of the band’s greatness with their splendid FACT mix from 2014.
