Masters At Work and Mykki Blanco to celebrate 10 years of Block9 at Glastonbury
Marking a decade of innovative sets and banging parties.
Block9 has announced the lineup for its 10th anniversary celebrations at Glastonbury this year, and it’s as immense as you’d expect.
The legendary Masters At Work will headline the NYC Downlow, the stage with which the team debuted in 2007 – and which arguably brought the aesthetic of ’80s queer New York to Glastonbury for the first time. Appropriately, the NYC-based rapper Mykki Blanco will perform a live set this year.
Also on the menu across Block9’s three separate stages this year will be feelgood deep house from Prosumer and a joint set from Steffi and Virginia, as well as appearances from Kevin Saunderson, Shed, Heidi, Pearson Sound and Midland.
Over the years, Block9 has expanded with the London Underground in 2011, a 50ft “tower block” clubbing space, and Genosys in 2013, a concrete and glass structure overlooking an outdoor party area. Find their full lineup for 2017 below:
