Collins is being held on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with the east London club acid attack that left two people partially blinded and others disfigured.

Arthur Collins was arrested at an address in Rushden, Northamptonshire on Saturday on suspicion of attempted murder. Another man, Andre Phoenix, 21, has also been charged with seven counts of grievous bodily harm.

Twenty clubbers suffered burns after being doused with a noxious substance in Hackney club Mangle E8 on Easter Monday, including a 22-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man who were both blinded in one eye.

Police have yet to identify the substance used in the attack.

Collins was sought by police after the incident and was urged to turn himself in by girlfriend Ferne McCann, best known for her appearances on The Only Way Is Essex and I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!
