This Monday gone, the xx played an quiet show on the rooftop of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Alright for some, isn’t it?

For a band so clearly in love with the dark, you’d assume it’s the lightest non-festival show that they’ve played in some time – in fact, according to Examiner‘s report, vocalist/guitarist Oliver Sims quipped that “It’s so weird to see faces. It’s normally just lights and smoke”.
