Oxfam’s music auction for Haiti

Oxfam are auctioning off unique music and music-related products via eBay, with all proceeds going to assist aid in Haiti.

Items going under the hammer include a Technics turntable belonging to DJ Shadow (currently at ÂŁ103.11), Alex Turner’s guitar, a rare Roland TR-727 drum machine (pictured) from The Chemical Brothers (ÂŁ410), a limited edition vinyl box set of The Pet Shop Boys’ Yes (ÂŁ500), Glastonbury tickets and backstage passes, and a Radiohead Fleet Street Apocalypse linocut by their artist collaborator Stanley Donwood (ÂŁ215).

Perhaps the most intriguing item being auction is a “personal song written by Damon Albarn” (currently at ÂŁ770).

Other artists who’ve donated merchandise to the auction include Coldplay, Gang of Four, Basement Jaxx and The Kooks. You can view the auction page here.
