Producer Phillip Sollmann will release a new album as Efdemin on May 24 (via RA).

The LP, entitled Chicago, features ten previously unreleased tracks from this purveyor of deep house and techno. It’s the follow-up to his self-titled effort for Dial, which was released in 2008 to much acclaim. In 2009 Efdemin contributed tracks to 12″s from Diamonds & Pearls and Naif, and was remixed by Martyn, John Beltran and E.R.P. (Convextion) across two releases for Curle Recordings offshoot Métisse. He also appeared  under his own name alongside Momus on Dial’s odd, excellent Pyramid Drift EP.

No more details of Chicago at this stage, but we’ll update you as soon as we know more.
