The 10th edition of Italy and Turkey’s Club to Club festival will see Kode9 play a set of new Burial material.

In a sequel of sorts to the Hyperdub boss’s mix of material from Burial’s landmark second album, Untrue, that preluded the album’s release in 2007, the set is billed as “Kode9 plays Burial – Exclusive European Debut”, and we presume will consist of material from Burial’s long-awaited third album, which is expected to land at some point next year.

Kode9 is also billed separately on the line-up, so we guess it’ll be one of two festival sets for the Scotsman. Elsewhere on the excellent looking bill for the festival, you’ll find Border Community boss James Holden, Caribou, Darkstar, Actress, Jamie XX, Jeff Mills (who’s presenting the European debut of “Something in the Sky”), Four Tet, Joy Orbison, Modeselektor, Luke Abbott, Oni Ahyun, Oneohtrix Point Never, Riva Starr, the Moritz Von Oswald Trio, Marcel Dettmann, Rob Hall, Shackleton, Shed, and a collaboration between electronic stalwarts Plaid and the Southbank Gamelan Players, a 12-piece orchestra.

Club to Club takes place from November 4 to 7 in Torino, and from November 3 to 5 in Istanbul, with previews in Milan (October  21 and 22) and Rome (October 2). For more information, ticket prices, etc, visit the Club to Club homepage. Keep it FACT for more Club to Club updates.
