According to a Hyperdub mail-out sent to fans today, Kode9 and The Spaceape will release a new album in April 2011.

The long-awaited follow-up to Memories Of The Future, it’s entitled Black Sun – after the devastating Kode9 single of 2009 – and that’s pretty much all we know about it at this time.

Hyperdub will kick of 2011 with a three-track EP from Morgan Zarate and a 12″, ‘Fuller’/’Hurricane Riddim’, from North London house producers Funkystepz.

On February 4 the label takes over Berlin’s Berghain club as part of the Club Transmediale festival. Kode9 & Spaceape, King Midas Sound and Darkstar will perform live, with DJ sets coming from Ikonika, Cooly G, DVA, Kode9 and Terror Danjah.
