Hype Williams’ next album will be entitled One Nation.

It’s due for release in March by Hippos In Tanks, and follows hot on the heels of the duo’s acclaimed 2010 LPs, Untitled and Find Out What Happens When People Stop Being Polite, And Start Gettin’ Reel, which came out on Carnivals and De Stijl respectively. Not much else is known about the newbie at this stage; the “trailer” below is just a tease.

You can catch Hype Williams live on these  imminent UK tour dates:

Wed 23 March – London, Plastic People
Thu 24 March – Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
Fri 25 March – Bristol, The Croft
Sat 26 March – Belfast, Black Box
Sun 27 March – Dublin, Whelans

Hippos In Tanks have got a pretty exciting schedule in place for 2011. In addition to Hype’s LP, they’ll be releasing an album by SLEEP ∞ OVER, plus new EPs from Laurel Halo and Autre Ne Veut,  whose self-titled LP for Olde English Spelling Bee was one of 2o10’s best, and a split single from d’Eon and Grimes.
