DOOM and Thom Yorke doing “whole record together”

According to an interview with 3D World [via NME], Thom Yorke and (MF) DOOM are doing a “whole record together”.

In DOOM’s own words, he’s “doing some stuff with Thom Yorke. We’re working on some duets, some duet songs and shit. Just like preliminary shit but we’ll probably end up doing a whole record together.

“He’s cool – he’s got a lot of ill ass ideas and shit, you know.”

Yorke remixed DOOM’s ‘Gazillion Ear’ in 2009, and in case you hadn’t noticed, has just collaborated with Burial and Four Tet on a new single. He also recently DJed at the Low End Theory clubnight in Los Angeles; you can watch footage of him playing Burial, Madvillain and more below.

Why does Yorke have to collaborate with artists to seduce the middle age/class?

  • Bungabunga

i think if there’s one thing thom yorke ensured a long time ago it’s his middle class fanbase.

  • Stefan

I don’t know what you two are talking about. this shit is so awesome!

  • Comeonpeople

Doom is a habitual liar so i’ll believe it when it’s released.
