Download a brand new remix of Depeche Mode’s ‘Master & Servant’

Next month, Depeche Mode release Remixes 2: 18-11, a triple-disc collecion (though a shorter, single-disc version is available) of remixes.

Stargate, Jacques Lu Cont, Röyksopp, Monolake, Trentemoller and more take starring roles, remixing Depeche hits like ‘Personal Jesus’, ‘Dream On’ and more – everything you’d expect, really. Today, we’re premiering RSS’s acid-soaked remix of ‘Master and Servant’ – you can download it below.

Remixes 2: 18-11 will be released on June 6, in both single-disc and triple-disc CD versions, digital download and a 6×12″ vinyl box-set.

not a huge acid fan, but this is better than any of the other remixes they’ve revealed so far. hell, anything is better than that starcrappers remix.

I’ve listened to DM since 1984 or something and been following them since. I’m of the opinion that they’ve “evolved” in the wrong direction since Alan left, and the latest albums are not reaching out to me as they did before. I’m not looking forward to concerts or new albums anymore, and seriously, a new remix album? With material like this? I heard better remixes in the late 80′s when DM did really great remixes. I think you guys out there can do even better than this one.. Nah, DM is on a downward spiral. They better quit before they become the laughing-stock of the music industry.
