Autre Ne Veut’s debut LP on Olde English Spellng Bee was one of 2010’s strangest, most addictive offerings.

Following his recent contribution to Mordant Music’s Variables II 12″, ANV is set to release a new 4-track EP, Body, through Hippos In Tanks on July 19. It finds the Brooklyn artist delivering more of his unique brand of lurid, R&B-infused pop, but this time the production is more full-bodied, his falsetto vocals more confident.

We’re premiering one of its tracks, ‘Sweetheart’, a dense, trippy affair that still puts gauche, gushing melody ahead of all else. It’s hard to be anything other than hooked. Stream and download via the SoundCloud player below.
