Blood Diamonds borrows Jamie XX’s steel drums for a tropical trance-pop romp.

Blood Diamonds (aka Mike Tucker) is a Vancouver producer who operates in the same weird pop universe as Grimes. ‘Ritual’ is the B-side to the previously premiered ‘Phone Sex,’ which featured Grimes on vocals, and the songs share the same warped take on 90s dance-pop. ‘Phone Sex’ and ‘Ritual’ are out now on 4AD, along with remixes of the A-side by Unicorn Kid and Jensen Sportag.
