John Talabot’s coruscating 2012 LP fIN is getting the remix EP once-over

Munich’s Permanent Vacation will release fIN Remixes Vol. 1 next week. Attentive readers will already have encountered streams of remixes from Pachanga Boys and Kenton Slash Demon. The best of bunch, however, is a delightful curveball from warped boom-bap producer Bullion, who appears to have re-invented himself as a psych-pop troubadour for the purpose. His take on ‘Destiny’ is a major overhaul, and falls much closer to the likes of Tame Impala than anything on last year’s You Drive Me To Plastic.
