When he’s not waging a one man war against the marionette community, Prince is putting in the hours in the studio.

If you’ve been following the Purple One’s activities in recent months, you’ll already have heard retro-fest ‘Rock N Roll Love Affair’ – it did the rounds in summer, and the surprisingly spry singer has also rattled through it on Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show. The track’s now got an official video, an unfussy short showing Prince wigging out with an assortment of young protégées. It’d be mendacious to call this vintage Prince, but it’s still a jolly old knees-up, not to mention a possible precursor to a new album proper. [via Hypetrak]
