Hear Berlin-based house maven Mano Le Tough's yearning 'Please'

‘Please’ is the first single off Mano Le Tough’s forthcoming LP Changing Days.

The Irish-born producer born Niall Mannion has seen his profile rise in the last few years thanks to memorable DJ sets in his adopted hometown of Berlin, and releases on labels like Prins Thomas’ Internasjonal and Tensnake’s Mirau.

His latest single, ‘Please’, starts simply enough, with a moody, reverberating shuffle and a gently processed loop of “don’t leave me / don’t let me go,” but the song takes a dramatic turn when Mannion layers in a more robust vocal line that is soulful and evocative.

The single appears on Changing Days, due out February 22 on Permanent Vacation, where labelmate John Talabot has been releasing similarly song-based — rather than track-based — house music.
