She might have been rollin’ round the blog circuit for some time, but Katie Got Bandz looks set to really make her mark with ‘Pop Out’, probably due to the savvy inclusion of one of her city’s most crucial players, King Louie.

Fresh from of the success of his Drilluminati tape, Louie chimes in with his signature charm here, pushing a singalong hook from forgettable into catchphrase territory. It’s Katie who really shines though, and finally sporting some hard-as-nails drill production to match her quirky flow. ‘Pop Out’ has our interest well and truly piqued for the full tape, let’s hope it’s as good as the title.
