The art rock deities pass us another taster of their hugely anticipated Mosquito.

‘Under The Earth’ is a deliciously brooding reminder of how sometimes the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s most low key moments are their finest. Through an echoing cloud of tape noise and low-slung bass, Karen O’s voice chimes through and anchors the track with one of her most sultry performances in ages. It’s a smart contrast to the relatively upbeat lead single ‘Sacrilege‘ and gives us another reason to believe Mosquito is going to be worth the wait. [via Stereogum]
