Chicago is dominating right now, and Lil Durk elevates things further with this sequel to ’52 Bars’.

The hitta’s hotly anticipated Signed to the Streets is due tomorrow, so with some smart deductive reasoning we’d guess that ’52 Bars Pt.2′ is probably grabbed from there. Wherever it’s from, it’s neck-breaking stuff, with workmanlike production coming from scene legend Young Chop.

Durk raps his ass off, showing more in the way of lyricism than many of his similarly-located peers, and the moody, stark electronic backdrop highlights even more similarities with our beloved grime. [via Purple Tape Pedigree]
