Ettinger’s offbeat take on dark-wave receives an equally out-there video.

Earlier this year, the Bloomington, Indiana electronic artist released the Crucify Your Love cassette on Night People. Now, the wobbly, haunted house synths of the title track have been set to visuals, created by Web 1.0 artist Molly Soda.

Soda pieces together VHS clips of women doing things to themselves and each other that are bizarre, creepy, and sexy in equal measure; the whole thing is bookended by an all-seeing globe of light in the tradition of HAL.

Crucify Your Love is out now on Night People Records, and Ettinger has recently relaunched his site with online store that is selling previously out-of-print records and tapes.
