Khaela Maricich and Melissa Dyne go looking for love on ‘Make It Up’.

Last week, The Blow announced a self-titled album, the group’s first since 2006’s Paper Television. Lead cut ‘Make It Up’ is a tightly-wound bit of electro-pop, with a patchwork of percussion and vocal harmonies.

“A lot of the sounds that we used in the album are samples of acoustic instruments that we processed back into electronic elements,” the band wrote at the time of the announcement. “Making this album was an odyssey of experimentation.”

Listen over on Soundcloud. The Blow is due out on October 1 via Kanine Records.
