Red Bull Music Academy’s month long music festival will take over New York this May with a packed schedule of concerts, showcases and talks

For the last few years, May has marked the arrival of Red Bull Music Academy in New York. For 30 days the company curates nightly special events and now you can check them all out. Though it’s worth sifting through to see what you like a few events jumped right out at us.

May 15 will bring the five year anniversary show of Tri Angle records featuring a stacked lineup of FACT favorites including Lotic, Forest Swords, Mssingno and more.

On May 8 PC Music and Sophie will be featured in an event called Pop Cube which has been kept understandably mysterious, but promises to “bring their sound and asthetic to life in a way that you’ve never seen”.

May 13 will bring Nothing Changes. A RBMA tradition that features a sprawling lineup of avant-garde and noise artists performing all night. Just a sampling of the lineup features Pharmakon, Prurient, Genesis P-Orridge performing with Aaron Dilloway, and Merzbow.

In addition to performances the month will feature coversations from George Clinton, La Monte Young, and A$AP Rocky. Head to RBMA for the full schedule.
