“Been supporting but now it’s official.”

Look out Tories – Novelist has joined the Labour Party.

The politically-charged south London grime MC – who in 2012 became Lewisham’s 9th deputy young mayor – tweeted his support for the party last night (June 30), while also urging Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn not to resign.

It’s hardly surprising when you consider Nov’s seething hatred for the Tories. In January, he dropped his hard-boiled David Cameron-sampling missive ‘Street Politician,’ which he then followed up in April with the ‘Tax The MPs’ riddim. That track sees Nov spit the words “liar, liar, pants on fire” over a quote from Cameron: “Without a strong economy, you can’t have the strong NHS, the strong schools, the strong defence forces this country needs.”)

The Lewisham firebrand even lead a massive crowd chant of “Fuck David Cameron!” at last weekend’s Glastonbury, in a moment of pure, spine-tingling fury. Watch a clip of that below and check out Nov’s manifesto for Young Mayor.

Naturally, he has also shared his thoughts about the EU referendum.
