Our landmark 30th FACT podcast comes courtesy of Tigersushi label boss Joakim, and he’s really excelled himself.

Joakim’s always been one to flirt between different styles – the post-Music is Rotted weirdo-electro-jazz he peddled on debut album Tiger Sushi, the twisted art-rocker’s disco he nailed on Monsters and Silly Songs, the smooth ambient of Fantômes…and that’s without even getting into his eccentric remixes of Annie, Late of the Pier and Tiga. Oh, and the other bands he puts out and produces – from Poni Hoax to Panico.

Look, you get the picture. We heart Joakim for his good taste, his production turns and his general approach to music, and we’re made up with the mix he’s provided us with. No tracklisting as yet, but if you’re up for a slow-burning journey through stuttering, glitched-out pop, swanky disco, paranoid electro and Britney’s ‘Overprotected’ then this has your name all over it.
