XOYO have announced their programme for November, and there are some real gems on the list.
On Friday November 2, Black Butter Records will host golden boys Rudimental. The Hackney quartet have enjoyed a UK number 1 with ‘Feel The Love’, and will be performing a full live set. Joining them will be underground hero Zinc, who, if his recent FACT mix is anything to go by, will be zipping between contemporary 2-step and invigorating hybrid house. Teenaged house talents Bondax will be appearing, as will Two Inch Punch, Kidnap Kid, Clean Bandit, DJ Rum, 2nd Drop and Lulu James.
On November 9, Spin Off invite the almighty Frankie Knuckles will stop by for a timely house workout. The support cast includes Futureboogie’s Behling & Simpson, Casino Times, and Csy & Stripes. November 16, meanwhile, sees Scandinavian disco don Lindstrom touching down to launch his latest album Superhans. Tigersushi’s Joakim, The Other Tribe and NZCA/Lines will provide a counterpoint to all the cosmic disco.
November 23 will see record store Phonica toast its 9th birthday. The line-up is yet to be confirmed, but a “huge” bill of special guests is promised. “Huge” is also the order of the day on November 30, when the best bill of bunch takes place. Rustie, fresh from 18 months of major successes, will be on DJ duty. Austrian beat-nerd Dorian Concept will also be appearing, as will LuckyMe’s latest party-starter S-Type.
