Legendary drum ‘n bass imprint Virus celebrates its 15th birthday this year, and festivities will be held at London’s Cable on Friday May 8.
Established in 1998 by scene pioneers Ed Rush and Optical (who released their career-defining Wormhole on the label), this will be the a rare opportunity to see a selection of the label’s artists in one place for a change. Fittingly the label bosses themselves will headline, but support comes from genre veteran Matrix, Black Sun Empire, The Upbeats, Optiv and BTK performing back to back, Audio and Frankee, while the night will be hosted by emcees Bailey, Renegade Hardware’s Insideinfo, Cause4Concern, Basher and Touch.
If it’s all too long ago and you’ve forgotten just how good Wormhole actually is, maybe this will jog your memory.
FACT has two VIP tickets to giveaway, including free fast track, 4 drinks tokens, free cloakroom and access to the VIP section with the best view in the house. Drop us an email on competitions@thevinylfactory.com with the subject line ‘Virus 15’ to be in the draw.
