Bamboo is a new project from Nick Carlisle and Rachel Horwood of respective Upset The Rhythm mainstays Peepholes and Trash Kit. For their recently released debut album the duo blend everything from synth-pop to gamelan to folk music — even fitting in a song written by Yellow Magic Orchestra’s Haruomi Hosono. That mashed up style shines on their single ‘Hexagonal’ which now has a video that blends Eastern imagery, tarot and the maximalist visuals of internet art.
