It’s been two long years since Quincy Hanley’s druggy gangsta odyssey Oxymoron

The Black Hippy man’s first single back, ‘Groovy Tony’, surfaced yesterday (April 4) soon followed by a video capturing the track’s exact murk and menace.

Set in part in a scrapyard and shot largely in POV, it sees Schoolboy Q involved in all manner of nefarious activities before crashing a car in a tunnel. When realising he’s on fire, he calmly lights a cigarette from the flames rising from his jacket arm.

The clip was directed by Jack Begert and the Little Homies, who you may know from Kendrick Lamar’s recent ‘God Is Gangsta’ short film and Alright’ music video.
