You’d never guess M.I.A. had an album coming out, would you? Not with how quiet she’s been of late.

Still, at least now it’s actually music being leaked rather than dictaphone recordings of chip orders and phone numbers on blimps. Pitchfork yesterday linked to two new pieces of MIA material; first, ‘Steppin Up’, which was debuted by Zane ‘Zipper’ Lowe on his Radio 1 show. You can stream  a radio rip below.

And second, a remix of ‘XXXO’ featuring Jay-Z.
